Rassamee Kahrs, MFT

As a therapist at Harmónia, my purpose is to provide you with
a safe space where you are invited to express, explore, and feel
through the terrain of your emotions, thoughts, and perceptions. I welcome collaboration and open dialogue within the therapeutic relationship, and work primarily from a Systemic and Humanistic perspective—I respect and value the uniqueness of each person and view the challenges and joys that arise in life as a manifestation of the multifaceted and interconnected nature of all things.

My worldview as a therapist arises from a stance of honoring the profundity of the human condition and acknowledging the beauty and power of creativity, vulnerability, and connection. My perspective is rooted in the importance of deep reflection, honesty, responsibility to self and others, and the willingness to pursue lifestyle changes through active participation in therapeutic work beyond our shared time in session. I come from a multiethnic and multicultural background, am a part of the LGBTQA+ community, and enjoy yoga, ecstatic dance, and spending time in nature.

I have completed a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin and am currently supervised by Alex Einsman, LMFT.
